I decided it was time to get a larger French Press, so I went with the Espro.

I've already used this for two weeks, so let's get into it.

I do think it's very intuitive in terms of the features here and using the control panel.

You need to pull this out every time in order to clean it properly.

If there is one thing about this coffee maker, it is that it kind of vibrates when it's brewing.

The pump vibrates; it's not loud or super annoying. It's just kind of like, 'Oh, it's vibrating the whole time.'

The coffee maker has been running somewhat consistently; you can hear a pump running.

The cleato wave, as expected, is a little sweeter than these guys.

The extraction time was a little longer, and that definitely contributes to the sweetness I'm finding in the cup here.

The mouthfeel of the Kalita is a little bit heavier than that of the Origami.

Little ones take 24 grams of coffee, and how many ounces would that be? It would be 13 and a half.

This is the 155 model, and the big ones take 42 and 700 milliliters.

The 185 model can handle up to 24 ounces.

The coffee it was producing was remarkably good and surprisingly similar to a single pour-over.

The water distribution is not exactly ideal.

One possible negative of the Mocha Master is that it uses a hot plate.

This is a great brewer if you are someone who occasionally brews a full pot for family or others and sometimes brews half a pot for yourself.

The selector switch is an excellent way to ensure that you don't brew too much.

This warming plate is actually on a separate heating element from the boiler.

The first-time setup and assembly were dead simple.

The user experience of the Mocha Master is decidedly simple.

The parts here are very easy to remove and clean.

This combination of the Mocha Master and Fellow Ode was a fantastic, minimal setup that could quietly pump out batch after batch all weekend long.

It was quiet, which was nice for slower mornings.

This makes nice espresso; in fact, it's what I would call real espresso.

The Picopresso is superior in almost every way.

I have no complaints. This is by no means the best espresso I've ever had, but it's not bad.

You can fit approximately 18 grams of coffee in there.

I would love to see a larger water canister.

The stock filter basket is what comes with the Wacaco Picopresso, but I cannot recommend enough upgrading to a precision basket.

It's really fun to use.

Cleanup is really a cinch.

I actually find it a little easier to use.
