I was very happy with the bass response that I got out of these. The vocals were very clear. This is some really rich audio, you guys.

I can't imagine a specific genre of music that wouldn't work well with these.

The c700 supports multi-point connection, which means you can connect it to two devices at the exact same time.

Regarding overall sound quality, I found that with the Ear Twos, the 'special sauce' was in the highs. There was a lot of sparkle going on in the highs.

On these newer buds, I'd say the highs are somewhat more recessed.

The combination of the larger size and slightly smaller driver allows them to add a bigger battery, which has improved battery life by over an hour.

The Nothing Ear provides up to 5.2 hours of usage, while the Nothing Ear A offers 5.5 hours with ANC on.

Comparatively, major competitors like Sony, Bose, Apple, and more offer 6 hours of better battery life on one charge.

As for codec and connection quality, the new earbuds both have high-quality LDAC support.

I do notice that the strength of the connection could be more robust than that of other earbuds that offer the same high-quality codec.

I would experience dropouts even when walking a couple of rooms away in my house.

The noise cancellation worked fine there, works fine here as well, and works well enough when you're sitting on a train.

I left them on the high setting when I was testing both sets of buds because I found that on adaptive, they tend to skip up and down quite erratically.

They're not up there with the very best, like the boses and the swordies, but they are still very good.
