Performance-wise, you can see it's a significant improvement over the Tab S8 series, and it will easily be able to play games like PUBG Mobile and Asphalt 9 at high graphics and frame rate settings.

To me, though, when playing PUBG Mobile, I don't feel like it looks like much of an improvement over the Tab S8 series.

This one has a bigger battery, with 10,090 milliamp hours and 45-watt fast charging.

I ran my typical battery drain test, and, yes, it is very similar to the regular Galaxy Tab S9, lasting just under nine hours before it died completely. This is more of an extreme usage scenario at 100% screen brightness.

I have been using it intensively with different apps, and I feel like the battery life is noticeably better compared to my S7 Plus and even my M2 iPad Pro.

The software here is going to be pretty much identical to the regular S9, just a little bit larger.

You can multitask with up to three apps simultaneously and resize any of the windows.

Dex mode gives you a more desktop-like interface, with a mouse cursor, a taskbar at the bottom, and resizable windows for that desktop experience.

If you already own the S7 or S8 series tablets, then I don't think the S9 is an absolutely necessary upgrade unless you want to be future-proof for new Android updates.

You can see the dual camera setup there in the back, which is very similar to what you see on some of the S23 series phones.

With this one, you get two cameras on the back: a 13-megapixel wide and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide. Then, you've got a 12-megapixel ultra-wide on the front.

It can shoot video at up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, both on the front and the back.

I personally don't think it's anything amazing, but I hardly use it anyway.

This is the new 2024 iPad Pro 13, featuring the ludicrously fast M4 chip.

This literally gives the M3 Pro in a MacBook Pro a run for its money while also being fanless.

Aside from these synthetic benchmarks, it's actually really hard for me to distinguish the M1 chip devices from these new M4 chips.

It has a 10-hour battery, the same as before.

Despite having very bright screens, they still offer very good battery life.

It's all just hamstrung by iPad OS.

The problem with reviewing this device right now is that we have Apple's WWDC event just around the corner, where they'll announce all the new software.

Especially now that they've placed it in this central landscape orientation.

The front-facing camera is now mounted on the landscape edges, right on the sides of the iPads.

We are dealing with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors in the two larger models.

Every Tab S9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. In benchmarks, the performance jump over previous generations is actually quite significant.

In a demanding game like Genshin Impact, I found that it doesn't get as hot, and I've experienced far fewer dips in frame rates.

In terms of battery, I've been getting around seven to eight hours of screen-on time, which I'm honestly happy about.

This supports 45-watt fast charging, and it will take about an hour and a half to fully charge.

You don't get a charging brick in the box anymore, so be sure to pick one up if you need it.

One addition that I love about this tablet is actually in Samsung's UI.

This year, they've added something they call Vision Booster mode for outdoor viewing.

These Galaxy Tabs have DeX built right into them. DeX is basically a different mode that gives you a Windows PC-like experience.

Samsung offers a lot of flexibility, but it can also be very overwhelming if you're not used to it.

The cameras returned from last year. There's a 12-megapixel camera on the front and a 13-megapixel camera on the back.

The front-facing camera remains in the correct position when it is on top in the horizontal orientation.

The new 2024 iPad Pro 13 comes with the ludicrously fast M4 chip.

It benchmarks extremely well. It's a second-generation, 3-nanometer process.

The knock on the iPad Pro for years now has been that it's ridiculously overpowered.

As a result, you end up with really good battery life.

The 10-hour battery remains the same as before.

It's basically the same, so they're not going to let this turn into a full-fledged computer because Apple has Macs to protect.

It's just all hamstrung by iPad OS. This has been the issue for the last five or six years.

Especially now that they've placed it in this central landscape orientation.

It's an ultra-wide camera for FaceTime and similar applications.

It's not great, to be honest. The graphic settings are lower in Recfest.

The OnePlus Pad is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 9000 chipset.

The battery life on this device is absolutely incredible.

You will easily get 18 hours of video playback on this device.

The OxygenOS processor is a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 octa-core.

The software running on the OnePlus Pad is Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1 layered on top.

With the pad, OnePlus is offering three years of Android OS updates.

This camera had better be good.

The OnePlus pad does have an 8-megapixel lens tucked away in that tiny top bezel.

The OnePlus Pad also comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera.

The chipset of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, featuring slightly higher clock speeds.

The Tab S9 Ultra performs exceptionally well in benchmark tests, topping the charts as far as tablets go.

In our prolonged stress tests, the Tab S9 Ultra did an excellent job, so the sustained performance is respectable too.

The Tab S9 Ultra has a large 11,200 milliamp-hour battery, and the battery life is decent.

We measured 7 hours and 45 minutes of screen-on time when web browsing and 10 and a half hours when playing back videos.

There is support for 45-watt wired charging, but as is typical for Samsung, you don't get an adapter in the box.

The interface here is Samsung's One UI 5.1, built on top of Android 13.

The Tab S9 Ultra's interface supports both the default tablet mode and the desktop-like DeX mode.

You get specific features enabled by the S Pen, such as drawing, taking notes, and air actions.

The main camera produces excellent daylight photos with a lot of fine detail, balanced sharpness, a wide dynamic range, and punchy colors.

The main camera's low-light photos are good, detailed, and sharp, with a wide dynamic range and realistic colors.

The 12-megapixel front-facing ultra-wide camera also captures superb photos with a super wide field of view.

When it comes to performance, we have the Exos 1380. I know enthusiasts are always like, 'Oh no, Exos! I want a Qualcomm.'

They say it's 40% faster than the previous generation Fe, and that's about accurate.

It's perfectly competent; it can play Civ, as you can see. You can play Genshin Impact, and you can play any game on it. Typically, games are the most demanding.

The software, as always, is very good. One UI 5.1 is on here, but sadly, it's still Android 13.

Happily, you do get four major OS upgrades and five years of security software updates.

Typically, it takes a couple more weeks after the standard S9 series and the higher-end series get the updates before we see them trickle down to the more affordable model.

The 12-megapixel front camera is no doubt mostly going to be used for video conferencing these days.

The dual 8-megapixel rear cameras include a main and an ultra-wide lens, and they're reasonably competent.

Unusually for a tablet, this is IP68 water-resistant and dust-resistant.

The A14 has no issues keeping up at 60 FPS, and the graphics look great.

As far as general performance and snappiness go, this thing feels nice and fast.

The only downside in performance that I noticed is some general stuttering because this does not have ProMotion.

The battery life is also really good. You should be getting at least 10 hours of use, if not more.

It will charge faster than the previous iPads because it can actually reach 25 watts of power.

Even though the battery life is better, it takes longer to charge.

Regardless of which iPad you choose, they basically run and play all the same apps and games.

Slightly frustratingly, the base storage option is just 64 gigabytes.

The real difference is the camera on the front. All the other iPads have cameras that are on the left-hand side when you're holding them in landscape mode, compared to this one, where it is perfectly centered.

The combination of the higher 12-megapixel camera and the improved processing of the A14 chip means we're getting much more detail.

The A15 Bionic chip is fast, as you'd expect it to be, with a six-core CPU and a five-core GPU on the iPad Mini. It benchmarks well.

This device is nearly twice as fast, but the 60 hertz screen means that swiping between home screens and general tasks doesn't necessarily feel much smoother.

Probably the worst thing about the iPad Mini, as tested, is its small battery.

Despite its petite size, the battery life is actually very good on the mini. After three hours of gaming, watching YouTube, and using social media apps, I still had 71% of my battery left.

Of course, many people are already very familiar with it, and it's all running on Apple's latest chip.

One thing that's somewhat annoying about this software is the excessive padding around the home screen icons.

This is the first iPad Mini with a camera bump, featuring a new 12-megapixel camera on the back.

But really, it's this front camera you'll be using the most, and we get the same 12-megapixel ultrawide that you get on the flagship iPad Pro.

This year, it is using an older chip design with the A13, but you have to realize that it is only two chip generations behind the latest A15 chip.

You are getting really fast processing on this iPad; it's very similar to what you would get on an iPhone 11.

Everything felt fluid and responsive, even when playing games like Call of Duty Mobile.

The battery of the iPad is actually quite good, and I can charge it every other day.

Yes, it has already happened that I was in the middle of a project, and just like that, the battery was at five percent.

I feel like you can basically do almost everything on this $329 iPad that you could do on a more expensive iPad Air and even a more expensive iPad Pro.

Sometimes, the screen doesn't react to touch, for example, when using the undo shortcuts.

The front-facing camera on this iPad has a higher megapixel count than the rear-facing camera, which still uses just an 8-megapixel sensor.

The most surprising thing about this iPad, to me, is that it actually has a feature that the $600 iPad Air does not have: a front-facing camera supporting a 12-megapixel super ultra-wide-angle field of view and Center Stage.
