The Sony WF-1000X Mark 5S pumps out premium sound with minimal distortion, thanks to the dynamic driver X Tech and the high-quality DAC.

I really appreciated being able to hear every tiny element of each track I played.

These do sound really good, and they offer a lot of passive isolation.

Sony estimates you'll get around eight hours of use from these buds on a full charge, even with the noise canceling switched on.

You will only get around two full recharges of the buds before the case itself needs to be recharged.

It's Bluetooth 5.3, of course, as you would expect from a premium pair of true wireless earbuds.

I was ridiculously impressed with the stability of that connection, even though I had the streaming set to prioritize the audio quality of a performance.

They certainly feel really comfortable to wear.

The only minor aspect of their design that I haven't liked is the polished plastic material.

These are Snapdragon sound certified, which addresses one of my biggest complaints about the previous version: they only had SBC and AAC codecs. Now, they feature Qualcomm aptX Adaptive, which means you're getting lower latency, resulting in less lag in the earbuds, and you're also getting higher resolution sound.

The sound quality, especially when you have aptX Adaptive on, was actually really nice. I was really impressed by the sound profile of these.

These earbuds are way too bassy, and I mean by a lot, even with the default tuning.

The three-band equalizer is insufficient in getting it to where it should be.

These earbuds offer up to six hours of battery life, and 24 hours when you include the case, even with active noise cancellation on.

They actually have a shorter battery life if you turn on immersion. You get four hours in the earbuds and 16 hours when you include the case.

These also have Bluetooth 5.3, so if you're in a gym, the range should be really ideal. It also means they work independently without the classic Master-Slave connection.

These don't have true multi-point connectivity, meaning you can connect to multiple devices, but not simultaneously.

These are definitely a lot better. They feel more comfortable than the twos, and they stay in my ears for a longer period of time without falling out.

Bose understands that we have three pairs of ear tips and three pairs of wing tips, giving you nine different combinations, like a permutation of nine.

There is also very little distortion at high volumes, and the whole sound profile is very responsive and crisp.

They are literally adjusting the EQ for everything you listen to.

The spatial audio was already pretty good. There's just a bit more of a spread in how far apart the different sounds and instrumentals are.

However, we do know that the new AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C can deliver uncompressed lossless audio wirelessly.

These now have a 33% longer battery life, providing six hours on a single charge with noise cancellation on.

The AirPods Pro have a slightly longer battery life, providing six hours compared to technically five hours and 40 minutes with the second generation.

The new AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C and MagSafe are just the same AirPods Pro we had before, but with a different charging port.

IPX 54 protection, which means dust resistance has been added.

This case also features Precision Finding, so just like with AirTags, you can precisely locate your AirPods.

There is also a new, extra-small ear tip.

New this year, we've added an extra set, so we now have extra small, small, medium, which comes standard on the AirPods, and of course, large.

The Samsung Galaxy Bud 3 Pro's default sound isn't bad by any means; it's solid but more subdued in the high end.

The low end on it feels punchy and manages to avoid that bloated sound that so many earbuds are prone to having.

With my custom EQ, I can achieve a sound that lightly adjusts the low end to make it punchier and adds energy and clarity to the high end.

With ANC on, the Samsung Galaxy Bud 3 Pro has 6 hours of listening time on one charge, with an additional 26 hours provided by the case.

In practice, I found it was a bit less than that; it was closer to about 5 to 5 and a half hours of AC action.

Bluetooth 5.4 and LED audio ensure a great, solid connection even at longer distances.

Neither of them has true multi-point connectivity, which most other earbuds in 2020 do have.

These buds are incredibly comfortable to wear, even for hours at a time.

Some people are experiencing issues when they try to remove it from the earbud itself, and the slight rigidity in the ear tip just breaks off.

The sound signature, right out of the box, is very V-shaped.

The increase at the low end is considerable.

The bass primarily focuses on the sub-bass.

The EQ setting I have is mainly boosting the treble and bringing the bass down ever so slightly.

The battery life is also very impressive on this pair because if you use them with the noise canceling turned off, you can get about nine hours on the earbuds and about 45 hours using the case.

With the noise canceling on, you're still going to get about seven hours on the earbuds and about 37 hours using the case.

They can fast charge in 10 minutes, providing two hours of playback on the earbuds, and they are also compatible with wireless charging.

This pair also has a multi-point connection, so you can connect them to more than one device at a time.

There were a few too many times when one of my devices would show it was connected to the buds, but when playing something, it wouldn’t produce any sound.

The buds don’t support pulling a connection from a previously paired device.

We had no issues wearing them for long periods of time.

The Air Pro 3 is a shallow insertion style earbud.

The buds are IPX5 rated, which is useful if you intend to get active with them.

In my opinion, these two earbuds have the punchiest sound in Sony's entire lineup.

They also have a custom EQ feature, thanks to the Sony app.

I feel like the C700 separates itself when it comes to higher frequencies, especially at higher volumes.

As far as battery life is concerned, you're getting the exact same numbers, with around 10 hours on a single charge and 20 hours total once you factor in the charging cases.

With the C700, when active noise cancellation is turned on, the battery life drops to around seven and a half hours on a single charge and about 15 hours total when you factor in the case.

The c700 supports multi-point connection, which means you can connect it to two devices at the exact same time.

As of the recording of this video, the multi-point feature isn't exactly available.

The C700s are just a tad bit smaller, and for those of you with smaller ears, much like myself, it does make a difference in terms of the fit.

These have a more textured finish compared to the very smooth finish of the Link Bus S. When you match that textured finish with their compact size, it does improve the fit for me.

Samsung's updated seamless codec means you get full 24-bit audio here, as the sound is no longer downsampled to just 16-bit.

I really enjoyed the audio that has been played in my log hall. Certainly, the likes of metal, rock, and a bit of hip-hop all sounded great.

The sound quality was also very good, with an ample and wide sound stage.

The bass is punchy and well-defined, and I didn't experience any noticeable distortion at higher volumes.

The battery life is rated at five hours with noise cancelling on and eight hours with it off at moderate volume levels.

Some people are complaining that five hours is pretty mediocre, and yeah, it is.

There is a quick charge feature that provides an hour of use when you place the earbuds in the case for five minutes.

You've got Bluetooth 5.3 support and a bit of Bixby action, if that's a good thing.

The range is absolutely insane, slightly better than what I found on the Pixel Buds Pro.

You don't get true multi-point Bluetooth pairing that allows you to pair the device simultaneously with any two Bluetooth-enabled devices.

Not only are they 15% smaller, but they also weigh slightly less, at 5.5 grams per bud versus 6.3 grams.

I found that the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro were quite comfortable to wear for several hours.

They didn't slip out of my ears like their predecessors.

If one of your main priorities is bass, you definitely want to choose the Live Pro 2.

There is a ton of dynamic range for you to take advantage of, especially in terms of the bass.

The Live Pro 2 does a much better job in terms of the deep, low-hitting sub-bass.

With the Live Pro 2, we are experiencing slightly better performance, with a maximum of 10 hours on a single charge.

This is industry-leading technology, offering eight hours of battery life from the earbuds and a total of 30 hours with the case.

The upgrade includes a multi-point connection, which is a relatively rare feature in the true wireless world.

In terms of connection, the JBL Live Pro 2 does have Google Fast Pair, which, if you're using an Android device, will provide you with an instant pairing process.

The first upgrade is the superior fit with those new ear tips.

They have an IPX5 water-resistant rating, which is a slight improvement from the IPX4 rating on the Pro Plus.

I was very happy with the bass response that I got out of these. The vocals were very clear. This is some really rich audio, you guys.

I can't imagine a specific genre of music that wouldn't work well with these.

The Beats Fit Pro provides 6 hours of use, with an additional 18 hours from the case, totaling 24 hours.

If you have ANC or transparency mode on, you get six hours per listen and then an additional 21 hours from the charging case.

In five minutes of USB-C fast charging, you get an hour of playback.

These have Apple's H1 chip, so if you're familiar with AirPods, like the AirPods 3 or AirPods Pro, that's the chip that powers them.

There's an Android app that you can download, which will provide you with almost all of the features, except a few, such as the 'Find My' feature.

These have a wing tip, which gives you even more security when it comes to staying in your ears.

It does take some getting used to having that wingtip just kind of chill in there. Not gonna lie, it used to tickle at first.

The buzz also sounds cleaner with better overall bass performance.

They deliver bold, dynamic sound that's well-suited for today's music, whether it's pop, hip-hop, EDM, country, or anything in between.

With these, I am hearing a punchier bass; the low end sounds a bit more prominent than it did previously.

It's not muddy; it sounds like a pretty balanced sound.
