Another negative is the robot's slightly below-average-sized dust bin.

It is a powerful vacuuming and mopping machine that also uses detergent from the dock to ensure your floors are extra clean.

I found its mapping capabilities and object avoidance to be excellent.

One of the more impressive features, which makes this stand out above other robot vacuums, is the zero hair tangling main brush.

Its obstacle avoidance system was particularly poor.

Pros include its battery life; Narwhal says it can last 208 minutes on low power, which is much higher than average.

In our real-world battery efficiency tests, it achieved a top-two score with almost 2 minutes per percentage point.

In the app, you can program whether you want it to vacuum and mop simultaneously, vacuum and then mop, or perform just one of these tasks.

By having Siri shortcuts, you can at least manipulate some things via voice with your HomePods or other Apple devices.

There is a lack of an auto-empty dust bin. Most flagship robot vacuums these days have the ability to automatically empty their dust bins into a bag or bagless bin.

The Narwhal Foo app has one of the lowest scores we've seen, at least for its iOS version.

I like the dustbin situation and how compact the dock is because the dust is in the robot rather than the dock.

Narwal actually opted for a dustbin that is built into the robot.

It has an onboard soap dispenser in the base station, but it's pretty much proprietary to their own soap bottles.
