This still features the same gorgeous 17-inch IPS display with a UHD Plus resolution.

It has excellent coverage of the color gamut, it's color accurate, and it's everything you want in a panel.

The display is very bright. They claim it has 500 nits, but I actually measured a little bit above that, at 501 nits.

The battery life is not much different from last year's model, but you get a big battery inside with 97 watt-hours.

It achieved 8 hours and 44 minutes on the PC Mark 10 modern office battery test.

If you're going to do any kind of gaming, it will really drain the battery quickly, lasting about an hour or so.

There are two RAM slots in the center, allowing you to install anywhere from 16 to 64 gigs of DDR5 RAM.

We have two M.2 SSD slots, obviously full height 2280. You can get it with one or two SSDs from Dell.

The Wi-Fi card is soldered on here, so no upgrades are possible there.

The magnesium alloy body gives you a smooth and light feeling to the touch, making it not only portable but also durable.

It has a very color-accurate and wide coverage screen. It's a 4K OLED, but sadly, this model only supports 60 Hz. However, it offers up to 500 nits of brightness and HDR support.

Color gamut coverage is exceptionally good on this panel: 100% sRGB, 97% NTSC, 98% Adobe RGB, and 100% P3 color coverage, which is just amazing for this screen.

Editing or something with a 90-watt-hour battery.

Regarding the batteries, I cannot comment on battery life yet because these are pre-production engineering samples.

Spec-wise, it's really good. I've got the top spec version here, with two SSDs providing up to 4 terabytes of storage.

Note that it has very fast RAM with a speed of 7500 Mega transfers, and we have 64 GB of it, so there's plenty of RAM available.

The P16 is 14.9 mm thick and weighs 1.85 kg, making this Pro P16 notably thinner and lighter.

They've got this Nano black coating that is very resistant to fingerprints.

The hinge feels good, and we have cornering Gorilla Glass for the screen.

This has an OLED panel. I don't even need to look at my notes to tell you that much. Just using my eyes, I can easily tell you that this is a fantastic-looking display.

In SDR, the accuracy of the panel is actually quite poor, with an average Delta E of 4.8.

The peak brightness of this display is 600 nits, which is bright enough for you to work outside, although the screen is quite shiny.

It's quiet, and it has a battery life that lasts for days.

It's backed by a whopping 32 gigs of RAM, making it an absolute beast when it comes to productivity tasks.

The overall look of the Prestige 16 is quite nice; it does have that professional feel.

It has exceptional chassis rigidity, provided by a blend of aluminum and magnesium.

The chassis is fingerprint-resistant, which is pretty good.

The display received a significant upgrade.

It is so much brighter, and the viewing angles are so much better.

There is one issue with it: the screen is quite reflective.

This is one of the biggest things we were waiting for with the X Elite chip: to get much better battery life.

It doesn't really match up in real-world use.

It is still the best battery experience I've ever had on a Windows laptop.

You still get 16 gigs of RAM as the base.

The SSD is actually replaceable here, unlike in a MacBook.

The surface of the chassis is very sturdy.

Its keyboard is a winner, satisfyingly clicky without being overly noisy.

The haptic trackpad feels natural and accurate.

The variant we have features a 14-inch OLED touchscreen with a sharp 3K resolution.

It also has 550 nits of peak brightness when watching high dynamic range content and 100% coverage of the color gamut.

Having a dynamic refresh rate of up to 120 Hz gives you really smooth scrolling.

Well, this has a 75 Whr battery, and you get a 65 Watt Type C PD charger along with it, which is great. What's insane is that we got a battery life of around 10-12 hours in day-to-day usage involving lots of Chrome.

It comes with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.

The M.2 PCIe Gen 4 SSD certainly has good enough read and write speeds for what you need it to do, and it is certainly fast enough.

Unfortunately, the RAM is soldered into the motherboard and is not upgradeable by the user.

This all-metal design has excellent build quality. It also has a military standard A10 rating, meaning it can take a licking and keep on ticking.

What has changed from last year is that this is even slimmer at 14.9mm and lighter at just 1.2 kg.

One nitpick, though: I'd like to see those USB Type-C ports split on each side instead of all being on the right side.

The spec sheet is pretty simple: it's a 15.6-inch Chromebook with a 1080p non-touch anti-glare screen.

Screen-wise, it's a full HD IPS display with a great screen-to-body ratio and no chunky bezels around the sides.

It's not the brightest panel, so AR visibility might be a bit of a challenge.

The battery life is great, considering the specs. It has a 53 Wh battery, which is sizable, providing a 10-hour battery life.

This is a device that absolutely cuts corners, but for the most part, it gets away with it.

The storage is fantastic, with up to 512 GB NVMe SSD, which is much quicker than Chrome's usual eMMC mobile storage.

The chassis is mostly made of plastic materials and comes in a steel gray finish, with half of the front lid featuring a brushed texture.

It's lightweight at only 3.7 lb, and I don't have to worry at all about speed.

It's also military-grade durable to protect against knocks, drops, temperature and humidity changes, and even offers some water resistance.

The screen has decent colors for gaming.

It's only 300 nits, and yes, we have been using 300-nit screens for years.

This device right here has a 240 Hz panel and a 1600p resolution.

The battery life was excellent for a gaming laptop during our usual battery test.

Performance on battery was only slightly lower than on mains power.

The upgradeability score is good for a 16-inch laptop, with no major drawbacks.

These computers still run at 60 Hz, so they're a little choppy when it comes to scrolling and moving around.

Apple charges excessively for the most basic upgrades.

The base storage on the M3 is much improved.

This is the build quality you don't really get from most other manufacturers.

The new anodization process should help with fingerprints, but it's still not as effective as lighter colors.

The screen has been updated to a 16 by 10 aspect ratio, and it is a really nice-looking screen.

Brightness is now up to 500 nits, up from 300, and I measured it to be pretty close to that, around 480.

The display has received some tasteful upgrades, such as the shift to the new nebula HDR panel, which utilizes mini LED technology.

I was experiencing slightly longer run times this year, but they didn't change the size of the cell.

Gaming on battery is still pretty rubbish; it slashes your frame rate by at least half.

The MUX switch, which can be set to either the default hybrid mode or the dedicated GPU mode, can make a big difference to your battery life.

We have a single slot of DDR5, which is replaceable, while the rest of the memory is integrated into the motherboard.

The Gen 4 NVMe SSD has received a significant upgrade compared to last year.

The base spec is a hundred dollars cheaper this time, and that's what I have here: a Ryzen 9 7940HS CPU with 16 gigs of memory and half a terabyte of storage.
